I am at the library and I just finished watching 11/22/63. I have to say that the movie (mini-series I suppose) is every bit as the novel by Stephen King. I know I was said it here before but I think James Franco did an excellent job as Jake Amberson. I tried to figure out why I like watching the movie at the library and I can only surmise that, maybe, with the bookshelves right in front of me makes me feel like I am in the Texas School Book Depository? I have been in the real one and I have been on the grassy knoll exactly where the second gunman was supposedly standing. If you are an old fart like me I recommend stopping there if you happen to be in Texas seeing a Rangers' and an Astros' game some time.Of course, I walked to the library again this week. I took a slightly different path (less traveled) than last week and this week was 3.92 miles. I have not decided which path I will take back home but it should be about the same distance I imagine. I would walk by Subway and get a chopped salad but, once I get over by Walgreen's on Lincoln Highway there are nor more sidewalks in that direction until after Subway. It is not worth risking death, on purpose, only for a salad. To save a life or do something for someone in need it would be an easy decision but I have salad stuff at home and I will be hungry after another four miles anyway. I had a banana before I came over so I should live.
On the walk over I listened to the Elton John station on Pandora and, for that entire walk, I only heard two Elton John songs. I think I heard four or five Billy Joel songs. I like Joel's music but, when I hear the music, I cannot think that he is an a-hole. On the way home I have decided to add a George Harrison station - he was not an a-hole as far as I can ascertain. I bet I hear a lot of Beatles' music as well as John, Paul and Ringo's stuff too.

| Hello doppelganger! |
I have lots of dangling participles in my life right now. Puerto Rico in a few weeks? Las Vegas in September? Upcoming job interviews (multiple) outcomes? Will I ever be able to go back to my current job working over-nights?

| This is just like the ones I received - BEWARE! |
I should probably end so I can start my four-mile hike in the frozen MIDDLEwest back home. I am going to end the blog today with something that I found very touching and heartwarming because I need some of my parts warmed. Thank you for stopping by and, maybe after I weigh-in tomorrow, I will blog again. MAYBE!? Have a great rest of your day and your night and here are heartwarming last words for today- if I get hit by a car or something they may even be my last words???
"We did not ask for this room or this music, we were invited it. Therefore, because the dark surrounds us, let us turn our faces to the light. Let us endure hardship to be grateful for plenty. We have been given pain to be astounded by joy, We have been given life to deny death. We did not ask for this room or this music. But, because we are here, let us dance." TA!
